I'm planning my next ski trip. its still a few months away but I started looking at my gear. I wanted a new pair of gloves. I like my mittens, but honestly, my hands were getting to hot. So I am ok if gloves are slightly less warm. These gloves are rated for being warm, for what its worth. I did a lot of online reading about this brand. Lots and lots of good reviews from other sources.Being honest, I bought them because of the color scheme. I just wanted something that stands out more. Not boring black. The features and reviews are what sold me on the gloves.According to the size guide, I should be a large, but my fingers always feel jammed up in large, so I went XL. it feel good. My finger tips just touch the ends if fully extended. My view is size up if you also have longer fingers. Its not winter yet, so I cannot yet comment on how they work in bitter cold and windy days, versus warmer spring days. Other reviews on other sites suggest they are very good.Pros:- great color scheme. Love the rust and tan- gauntlet style- built in leash (no more dropped gloves on the lifts)- soft fabric on exterior or thumb to wipe nose- super soft inside- both gauntlet and write can be cinched tight- even at full price they seem like a great value- gore-tex- easy pull-on tabCons:- (very minor) liners are not removeableCompany headquarters are in the USAWould I recommend: YesWould I buy again: Yes
