I have hard flooring throughout my entire house, so walking around barefoot for a long period of time makes my feet sore.It also seems like 10 minutes after I mop the floors, they're dirty again... and I HATE walking on what feels like grit or dirt on the floor. So I often wear socks around the house... which creates a lot of extra laundry, and wears my socks out quicker. When I first received these shoes I had just planned on trying them on real quick, then put them away to save for use during our upcoming beach trip. But once I had them on, they were sooooooo comfortable that I decided to leave them on to walk around the house. They are much more comfortable than going barefoot or wearing socks on my hard floors.I very well may end up buying a second pair for the beach, and keep these as 'house shoes.'I also love that they look a lot like tennis shoes (aka sneakers), thanks to the laces -- which can be tightened and loosened. My old pair of beach shoes had a zipper running along the top, and looked more like bowling shoes. One of the zippers broke after a few uses, which is why I started searching for a new pair. I was happy to find these zipper-free, nice-looking replacements. That said, these cost a lot more than my old ones (which were less than $10.)I go to the beach every few months and am always worried about stepping on broken glass, pieces of aluminum, and fishing hooks when walking along the beach and in the water. Wearing beach shoes eases my mind quite a bit because the bottom rubber adds a good bit of protection from injury/cuts that can easily be caused by sharp objects covered/hidden by sand or seaweed.I wish I could trust other beach goers not to leave their trash behind, but I learned a long time ago that many people are big-time litter bugs, and do not concern themselves with the increased danger their beer cans and beer bottles (etc) creates -- not to mention the danger to sea life and birds who mistake garbage for food.I suspect these shoes will also help protect me if I were to accidentally step on a stingray while in the water. The only negative I've found with these is the fact that the insole comes out EVERY single time I remove my foot. It's easy enough to push it back in, but it's still quite annoying. I did not have that problem with my old shoes.I plan to try some sort of very strong, waterproof glue to keep the insoles inside both shoes. These water shoes are very comfortable and the woven stretchy fabric body enhances the fit. The thick sole completes the package. The shoe is lightweight and wears like a dream. I wish I could find this product as a tennis shoe with a similar sole absent the water infiltration holes.Bought these for walking in sand and water at the beach. They are extra stretchy so really easy to put on and take off. That's important to me since I have a high arch. They are really comfortable. I actually put in some Dr Scholls arch supports because I need them. Walked in sand and water and they stayed snug and didn't fill with water and sand. They dry out quickly too. They are exactly what I wanted and needed.I loved these shoes. I bought them off a vacation list that was recommended from a TikTok. And I wore them in Hawaii. They did great for hiking and swimming. No blisters no rubbing and they didn’t fall apart. They wash very easily. The tread made it easy for climbing. Only down side is if the land it slippery they will slip a lot .This water shoe was so great I ordered two more pairs. I have a hard time finding shoes with a 10.5 foot. Especially comfortable and the bouncing in water aerobics leaves my feet crying. I haven’t had to add extra padding to these. They’re great.I have 2 pair of these for kayaking and swimming. Perfect for a light weight casual show, not much support, but great for around the house, pool or beach! I put a pad inside that elevated the comfort! They are soft and fit perfectly. Plenty of stretch and room for socks if needed! Would also be good for someone who is house bound or wheelchair bound to keep foot covered and safe!I needed some new water shoes for water aerobics & I was unable to find the Speedo water shoes I had previously bought. So I chose these for various reasons;1. The sole looked like it had good traction2. They were reasonably priced3. I was able to get them within a 2 day delivery.I have used them for about 10 classes so far & I am very happy with my purchase. Not only did they fulfill my expectations but bonus they are very easy to get on & off.Time will tell how long the traction will last but so far I would definitely recommend them & also buy them again.Slips on and off easily, but once secured with the pull ties, they are staying on. Very comfortable.Love love them super comfortable, great traction to hike up to some beautiful falls with variation of terrain !!!Snug, might be a little too much for a period of time.Had I known, I would have ordered 1 size smaller than my foot sizefits great and has a very good grip on the bottom
