I returned the boots due to them looking too plain for me. I like the boot and it is supportive of the foot, I just wasn't convinced with the style. I like my boots to look simple but elegant, that's why it's a "dress shoe" for me. I like my outfits to be simple but my shoes to be a conversational piece, especially if I am going anywhere "dressed up". It looks like a shoe that if I wore it to an event, 50 other guys would have the same shoe on. I returned the brown and the black pair for that reason alone. If you don't mind any of that? It's a great shoe! Comfortable as I said. I gave it an objective 5 stars because it does what is expected, but personally? I'd give it 3.5 stars.
