These socks were a gift for my girlfriend so she could have fun socks to wear at her jazz band competitions. Though I was a little disappointed upon first opening the package, I felt the design was a little blurry and hard to see what it was. I soon put that behind because I instantly fell in love with the fabric; it is super soft and not scratchy. I also read that the design was hard to see when the socks are on your feet seeing how my girlfriend and I have the same size feet I tried and have to disagree with this claim the pattern looks much better stretched out I feel like you can see what the design is better this way. Unfortunately, I have not given them to my girlfriend yet, and therefore they have yet to be washed, but I feel the design and sock should hold up in the wash. All I can say is I definitely have to get a pair for myself as they are that comfyNice stretch and the picture looks just like the real thingLove the hipposI rated them 4 * only because I haven't washed them yet. Spouse is a musician and wore them said they felt great, and liked the look.They were perfectNice and comfortable, durable after multiple washes. Wear them on shift all the time during winter, they can get a little in south Texas heat.Love the socks! The only thing I didn't like was that one size fits all description...Good fit and quality
