This is a good-looking robe, and just the right weight. It is lightweight but still has enough heft to keep you a little warm after toweling off. And the flannel cover scheme is classic robe colors, or at least it was when guys put on robes in the old days (yep, im old enough to remember). These days you're lucky if they got their boxers on. So, why not rate them a 5 star? The belt, or strap, if you prefer. In all the years they've been making robes, you'd think one company would come up with a way to affix the belt to the robe that works well. Ive tried the stitched ones; I generally didn't like the robe or the stitches came loose after a wash or the belt didn't hang appropriately in order to cinch the belt (The straps were most often in a place you couldn't reach in order to cinch, and my body doesn't twist as well as it used to). Anyway, I haven't found a robe that does a good job with the belt. If you know of one, let me know. Of course, they need to fit the other criteria as well. So, buy this robe; its made better and sharper-looking than the vast majority. Take care, I'll be writing you soon. I don't get out much. Ol' JoeBeautifully made. Plaid matches at seams. Details are well done. Nice man's robe. Good weight. Wash on delicate - cold / tumble dry - low. He loves the quality, the fabric & the fit!I love this flannel bathrobe.Feels great! The quality of the road seemed very good, however, it was way too large. I usually wear a small but sometimes can wear a medium but this was in between a medium and a large. Also, I sent it back over two weeks ago for a return and I’m still waiting for it to be processed.
